School begins again...

Summer session has begun again. I'm not taking any classes but I'm assisting one of my professors in a studio class and working my butt off at my part time job. My midpoint review is coming up too. I'd love to post some of my thesis stuff, but I'm kinda worried about copyright and all that stuff. Maybe it's unfounded, but to me the net is kinda like the wild west sometimes! So, just contact me directly if you're curious!

Here's some more drawings for you to enjoy!

New Sketches

Man! I've been drawing almost every day now, so I had a ton of drawings and pairing it down was really tough! Here's some of my stuff...there's a lot more and maybe I'll post it later. I also have some animation I've been working on so I should be posting that soon.

Where am I?

Well, I just moved to a new apartment and unfortunately I am without a scanner for the time being. Should fix that soon...I got ALOT of new stuff, so if I have your e-mail address I'll send out a note once I get up and running again!

For now, here's some inspiring words from Hamlet...

Yet here, Laertes! Aboard, aboard for shame!
The wind sits in the shoulder of your sail,
And you are stay'd for.
There ... my blessing with thee!
And these few precepts in thy memory
Look thou character. Give thy thoughts no tongue,
Nor any unproportion'd thought his act.
Be thou familiar, but by no means vulgar.
Those friends thou hast, and their adoption tried,
Grapple them to thy soul with hoops of steel;
But do not dull thy palm with entertainment
Of each new-hatch'd, unfledg’d comrade. Beware
Of entrance to a quarrel but, being in,
Bear't that th' opposed may beware of thee.
Give every man thy ear, but few thy voice;
Take each man's censure, but reserve thy judgement.
Costly thy habit as thy purse can buy,
But not express'd in fancy; rich, not gaudy;
For the apparel oft proclaims the man;
And they in France of the best rank and station
Are of a most select and generous chief in that.
Neither a borrower, nor a lender be;
For loan oft loses both itself and friend,
And borrowing dulls the edge of husbandry.
This above all: to thine own self be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.
Farewell; my blessing season this in thee!

SF second Drink and Draw fest!

We organized another Drink and Draw last weekend which was a blast! My drawings weren't as swell as last time, but I still think they're kinda funny....I'll post two of the better ones....

More Vonegut

"I have been a soreheaded occupant of a file drawer labeled 'science fiction' ever since, and I would like out, particularly since so many serious critics regularly mistake the drawer for a urinal."

Watercolor Aliens....

I got a portable watercolor set a while ago and just started really using it. I'm no expert on painting, but I'm kinda enjoying working with color and how the medium mixes...

Another great animation...

Found a lot of great stuff today. Here's an interesting pilot done for Sci-Fi network. This is how the Hellboy animated series should have looked in my opinion.

PART 3:

Ryan Larkin...

An amazing movie about Ryan Larkin. If you haven't seen it yet please watch it.
