Studies of opening scene of Rashamon. Inspired by a friend on mine :). Keeping them rough on purpose to practice speed and focus on storytelling.

I don't know why I like this one. The anatomy is way off but the flow feels really nice to me.

These are from the drawing session I started running at work. I've got a ton more and I'll be posting them over the next few days.

All poses are between 1 and 3 minutes using a sharpie. I've never used a sharpie for gestures and absolutely loved it!

Just got Inception on Blu ray. Can't wait to study more of this film!

I don't think this is a perfect drawing but I love the feeling of weight on the left elbow.
